However, as SANHUA, we are not only the provider of new technologies, but also the beneficiary of them. Those energy-saving technologies and concepts we believe in, are also inspiring SANHUA people to strive to achieve our own ‘carbon neutrality’ goal.
We are pleased to announce that through a series of energy-saving measures, the Industrial Park of SANHUA Commercial is reducing over 20,000 tons of carbon emission every year.
At Sanhua, energy saving is not a trend, but practical production and life.
1, Air Compression Station: Efficiency improvement and Heat Recovery
Almost all sanhua valves require compressed air for various ex-factory tests, so the air compressor station has always been a major power consumer. Although we adopted the most efficient variable speed compressor, we still found a lot of space for energy saving improvement. Thanks to the efforts and transformation of the Power Equipment Department at Sanhua, we are controlling the compressors in more intelligent way, and finally we achieved a more than 30% reduction in air compressor energy consumption.
Meanwhile, we found that the discharge temperature of the air compressor is high enough to be reclaimed as the source of constant temperature and humidity to the Electronic Products Workshop and heating to office area during wintertime. As a result, the energy consumption of the air conditioner is dramatically reduced.
2, Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Systems
On rooftop of the factory, we have installed massive solar photovoltaic system including 37units of inverters (320KW each) and 19,746 pieces of photovoltaic modules (545 Peak Watt each), count a total capacity of 10.76 MW. Today photovoltaic power accounts for about 34% of the total electricity consumption in the industrial park.
Part of the power generated by solar photovoltaic system will be charged into the energy storage system and be discharged during the peak consumption period. based on our demand we have installed energy storage power stations with a total capacity of 4MW and they enable us to charge and discharge twice per day.
3, Office and Shuttle Bus
Electric Bus
The shuttle buses for employees are all pure electric buses, and for those who drive own cars, are encouraged to carpool to work by organizing reasonable routings.
Most Efficient Air-conditioning System
Different locations in the industrial park adopt various air conditioning system, including Screw Chillers, Scroll Chiller and VRF to best fit the cooling or heating needs. No matter what kind of system are taken, there is one rule to follow: only high COP rated HVAC&R system are allowed in Sanhua industrial Park.
