In 1967, Xinchang County Xijiao People's Commune Agricultural Machinery Repair and Assembly Plant
In 1979, Zhang Daocai joined the agricultural machinery plant as the head of the supply and marketing department. Shortly after, the plant was renamed to "Xinchang County Xijiao Refrigeration Parts Factory." Started entering the refrigeration industry, beginning with refrigerator hinge and angle valves.
In1984，Zhang Daocai was appointed as the factory director of "Xinchang Refrigeration Parts Factory," and the following year, the factory name was changed to "Zhejiang Xinchang Refrigeration Parts General Factory."
In 1986, launched the thermal expansion valve with MOP cross-charging for freezing and refrigeration.
1987,Cooperated with Shanghai Jiaotong University to set up "Spark Alliance", successfully developed two-position three-way solenoid valve for refrigerator.
In 1989, Zhang Daocai, along with Chen Zhijiu and Wang Qinyao, visited Danfoss in Denmark and Egelhof in West Germany.
In 1990, launched the first-generation automotive air conditioning expansion valve
In 1991, Zhang Daocai proposed the concept of "one generation of production, one generation of trial, one generation of research, one generation of ideation" for product development and iteration. Started constructing marketing networks and established 8 major branches in China.
In 1993, independently developed the four-way reversing valve and achieved mass production.
In 1994, Sanhua Fuji Kogyo Joint Venture Company was established (the predecessor of Sanhua Corporation).
Formally established Zhejiang Sanhua Group.

In 1995, Sanhua destroyed 1790 unqualified products to show the determination of insisting on quality first and not allowing unqualified products to leave the factory.

In 1998, Ranco in the United States planned to acquire equity in Sanhua's four-way valves.
In 1999, Zhang Daocai summarized the essence of "Sanhua" as "the flower of management, the flower of technology, and the flower of talent" for the first time.
In 2001,Sanhua started sponsoring Zhejiang Greentown Football Club until the end of the 2003 season when the Measurement and Testing Center was established.
2002 Sanhua International (USA) Inc. was incorporated in the State of Ohio, USA.
In 2004, Sanhua launched the DPF(Q) electronic expansion valve and obtained TS16949 quality system certification.
First proposed from "cost leadership" to "technology leadership
Sanhua celebrated its 20th anniversary, and the CCTV program "The Same Song" visited Xinchang.
The goal of achieving sales exceeding 10 billion yuan within ten years, known as "Bai Yi Sanhua," was proposed.
In 2005, Sanhua shares were successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
In 2007, Sanhua acquired the global four-way valve business of Ranco.

In 2008, Sanhua International Europe Limited was established, marking its official return to the commercial sector.

In 2010, research and development of automotive electronic expansion valves and electric vehicle heat pump air conditioning systems were initiated.
Sanhua was awarded the "National Certified Enterprise Technology Center."
Sanhua Central Research Institute was officially established, focusing on the incubation of cutting-edge industries.
In 2011, Sanhua established Hangzhou Leaderway Electronics Co.,Ltd., becoming the leading independent inverter manufacturer in China.
The first Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held.
In 2012, Sanhua fully acquired the AWECO Group.
In 2013, Sanhua acquired R-Squared Inc. (Microchannel Heat Exchanger) in the United States, marking the historic first step of internationalized manufacturing overseas.
In 2014, Sanhua celebrated its 30th anniversary and proposed the business strategy of "Focus on Leadership, Innovation and Transcendence."
In 2016, Sanhua shares changed its name to "Sanhua Intelligent Control."
The second Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held,
Commercial Refrigeration Division was established to operate independently.
In 2017, Sanhua won the PACE Award and became a member of the Energy, Climate, and Resource Efficiency Working Group at the B20 Berlin Summit.
Sanhua acquired ATI Pipe Fittings Company in the United States and established a laboratory (STTC) in Houston.
In 2019, the High-Quality Development Conference for Science and Technology Innovation and Sanhua's 35th anniversary 35th Anniversary Celebration
In 2020, Sanhua achieved its first 5-year strategic plan goal in the Commercial Refrigeration Division and gained recognition from global commercial customers.
In 2021, the third Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held. Sanhua Commercial acquired Jinxin Company, officially entering the stainless steel plate heat exchanger field.
In 2022, the commercial business relocated to the Industrial Park in Damingshi,xinchang county and was renamed Zhejiang Sanhua Commercial Refrigeration Co., Ltd.
