With the increasing demand for space comfort, more users are choosing VRF systems or unitary systems (ducted units) for residential use. In the northern region of China, traditional heating methods primarily relied on burning coal, which caused significant environmental pollution. However, with the “Coal to Electricity” project guided by national policies, air source heat pump technology has been adopted. Heat pump technology is more energy-efficient compared to traditional heating methods, and its utilization of clean energy plays a crucial role in achieving 'carbon neutrality' goal. As heat pump technology matures, the heating system with cooling functions expands the application scope of heat pumps and it has become popular in south of China. This system provides floor heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. Additionally, the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has accelerated Europe’s process of reducing reliance on natural gas, bringing significant demand to the heat pump heating market.
