The pressure regulating valve is installed at the outlet of the evaporator. It is used to maintain a constant evaporation pressure and prevent the evaporation pressure from being too low. It can also be used in a refrigeration system where one compressor is configured with two or more different evaporation pressures to achieve different evaporation temperatures.
